We will give the lucky winner an energy retrofit to their home to bring it up to an “A” standard BER rating with a value of up to €100,000 or alternatively a €50,000 cash prize. Tickets are capped at €25 or 5 for €100 to make it affordable for everyone. Homeowners, renters, local authority tenants are all eligible for this retrofit
The retrofit will be completed by a SEAI registered Contractor Munster Construction. The winner will have a comprehensive home survey carried out and a retrofit plan will be tailored to bring their home to an “A” standard BER rating. The contractor will be ready to begin as soon as the lucky winner is happy to proceed. The following are some of the elements which may be required to get your home to an “A” standard BER rating:
New windows and doors
Cavity Wall Insulation
External Wall Insulation / Internal Drylining
Air Tightness measures
Air To Water Heat pump and all associated heating controls
Demand Control Ventilation system
Photovoltaic Panels on Roof.
